Surfacephilia joins Material Lab at Clerkenwell Design Week! Printing times.

Clerkenwell Design Week begins on Tuesday and I'm really excited to be a part of Material Lab's collaboration with Johnson Tiles to celebrate their 100 year history. Material Lab have brought in some key designers to collaborate and produce exclusive designs for a live screen-printing event.
I'll be nipping down on Tuesday to watch my designs being printed...here's the running order for the rest of the show:

Surfacephilia join the lineup for a collaboration with Johnson Tiles at CDW 2013

Another exciting announcement! Surfacephilia will be joining the growing list of designers to collaborate with Johnson Tiles at a live screen printing event atClerkenwell Design Week 2013.

Surfacephilia is a surface design brand that creates luxurious bohemian patterns for the interiors and homeware market. The elaborate designs feature unexpected imagery and are built up using layers of hand-drawn illustration, painting and collage giving a very tactile quality to the work. As well as being open to commission work, Surfacephilia's well critiqued debut collection 'NAVAJO' spans across a range of digitally printed wallpapers, luxury feather filled cushions, bone china and art prints.

The brains behind Surfacephilia is Helen Michelle Stevens. For her collaboration with Johnson Tiles she has designed a three colour print taken from a handful of sketchbook pages. It features hand-drawn birds mixed in with an organic line pattern, with elements of Johnson Tiles' design coming through. Get yourself to our stand in the Farmiloe Building during CDW to grab a limited edition printed poster or bag.
